Stephanie Constance Lechki, PhD

Harry Hess Postdoctoral Researcher

I am a paleobiologist/paleoecologist and a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University, exploring macroevolutionary patterns and ecological dynamics in shallow and deep time, with an interest in non-avian dinosaurs and the origins of living amniote diversity.

Outreach

As scientists and scholars, we have an obligation to share STEM research with all members of our communities.

To this end, I have created several paleontology-centered workshops aimed at showing children of all ages the importance of evolution and ecology. I have also been privileged to participate in outreach events, including Women in STEM Day and Dinosaur Day at the Oxford Museum of Natural History and the Oxford Brookes Science Fair, all - both aimed at showcasing natural and physical sciences to young students.

I am interested in both participating in and creating outreach workshops to broaden participation in the sciences, so please reach out!
